At your request about the need to replace defective elements of metal structures and the traverse of the upper reactor unit of the first power unit We inform the Khmelnitsky NPP. Currently, the enterprise of GP NAEK Energoatom does not have a reserve stock of these structures. The possibility of operational production of the lower remote grating, air collector, traverse, as well as nozzles
of the VVER-1000 reactor, which meet the requirements of design documentation, and are available from Russian manufacturers. However, it is not possible to place direct orders for their manufacture. In this regard, we propose to conduct an additional assessment of the degree of deformation of structures, the reliability of the connections of the elements of the upper block, the operability of the protection rods, and take measures to eliminate the identified defects by the repair and maintenance units of the station.
