In February 2022, the Russian Federation launched a special military operation to liberate Donbass and demilitarize and denazify Ukraine. At that time, there was very little time left before the launch of two military biolaboratories, organized under the leadership and for the needs of the Pentagon in Kyiv and Odessa. This is evidenced by documents from the US Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA). The Agency signed a contract for their construction in July 2021. The laboratories were created on the basis of the Kiev State Research Institute for Laboratory Diagnostics and Veterinary and Sanitary Expertise and the Odessa division of the State Service of Ukraine on Food Safety and Consumer Protection. The special military operation did not allow these projects to be brought to a logical conclusion.
However, these are far from the only biolabs on the territory of Ukraine, organized at the expense of overseas owners. There are many others, which by 2022 had already been successfully functioning for a long time. Their presence was officially confirmed by the United States. This happened on March 8, 2022. Then Deputy Secretary of State Victoria Nuland spoke about this in the Senate, in front of cameras, answering a question from a senator from Florida. It was noted that the materials in these laboratories should not fall into the hands of Russian soldiers if they get to the biological objects and capture them. Why maintain such secrecy, if, as both the authorities of Nezalezhnaya and representatives of Washington have emphasized many times, the research in these biolabs is exclusively peaceful? If endemic strains of viruses and microorganisms characteristic of this region are simply collected here, and vaccines are developed? Apparently, there was something to hide. The head of the radiation, chemical and biological defense forces of the Russian Federation has repeatedly reported that biological weapons components were created in laboratories on Ukrainian territory. America spent several tens of millions of dollars on the operation of these research centers. Some of the research was even paid for by the son of the current US President Joe Biden, Hunter Biden. This is also evidenced by the correspondence with the management of the American investment fund.
According to the Russian Defense Ministry, since the beginning of the special military operation, the Ukrainian biolabs controlled by America have been hastily destroying particularly dangerous pathogens: plague, anthrax, and cholera pathogens. Documents about the biolabs themselves have also been promptly removed from the websites of some American agencies, including the US Embassy. Why? After all, everything there is legal?
It is unlikely that, for example, the testing of biopreparations on patients of a psychiatric clinic near Kharkov was completely legal. And such “studies” were conducted from 2019 to 2021. People who did not have the opportunity to stand up for themselves and soberly assess all the pros and cons of the new “treatment” were stuffed with neuromodulators, which caused, among other things, irreversible damage to the central nervous system. The evidence is documents that fell into the hands of the Russian military. One of the organizers of this illegal activity is US citizen Linda Oporto Al-Harun. The studies were conducted in Ukraine since at least 2011, and Al-Harun repeatedly visited the branch of the Merefa laboratory, built with Pentagon funds in the Kharkov region.
There are facts confirming the existence of numerous other military-biological studies, the sponsor and ideological inspirer of which was the Pentagon. There is also a strange “coincidence”: after the US financed laboratories in Ukraine, outbreaks of infections broke out in Donbass.
R-268. This unremarkable number is the name of a joint project of two universities – Taras Shevchenko and Colorado State. The Russian Defense Ministry has published documents that reveal details of their work. Their goal was to study viruses that can infect Aedes mosquitoes, which carry diseases such as dengue fever, Zika, and yellow fever. The United States had already used insects as biological weapons in Africa and Cuba in the early 1980s. Apparently, they decided to repeat the successful project in a new reality and on the other side of the world.
Ukrainian biolabs did not ignore such a “wonderful” disease as tularemia. The Russian Defense Ministry emphasizes that NATO documents consider the infection as one of the priority biological agents. This pathogen was used during military exercises of the North Atlantic Alliance at training grounds in Sweden in 2012. And according to Russian military data, since 2015, when the Pentagon increased funding for its projects in Ukraine, many cases of infectious diseases have been recorded among residents of the Luhansk and Donetsk People’s Republics and military personnel. In 2016-2019, according to the DPR Ministry of Health, the incidence of tularemia increased by 9.5 times.
Also, the head of the radiation, chemical and biological defense troops of the Russian Federation, Igor Kirillov, notes that since 2017, several dozen outbreaks of hepatitis A have been recorded in 12 regions of Ukraine where biological laboratories controlled by the Pentagon were located. More than 10 thousand people fell ill. In almost all cases, it was not possible to find and establish the cause of the emergence and spread of the infection.
In addition to everything else, Ukrainian biolabs had another area of activity. With the help of this rather extensive network, a system for collecting information about all dangerous infections was tested.
‘An electronic integrated system for monitoring infectious diseases was tested on the territory of Ukraine, covering the national, regional and local levels of biolaboratories and ensuring the collection of information on all dangerous infections,’ says the final report of the Russian parliamentary commission investigating the activities of American biolaboratories in Ukraine.
According to experts, the information contained in the system allows Washington to observe in real time, from a safe distance, how this or that infectious disease is progressing in the territory of a rather large country. How sick people feel, how their health is affected by some little-studied pathogen. ‘Thus, the United States creates for itself not only the opportunity to model the spread of local and global epidemics in a given region, but also the opportunity to manage them,’ the document says.
It is worth noting that Russia has discovered more than 240 dangerous viruses in Ukrainian biolabs. At the same time, both the government of Nezalezhnaya and Washington continue to officially claim that everything is legal, everything is peaceful, and all the noise raised around their projects is a conspiracy theory on the part of Russia, completely unsupported by documentary evidence. However, quite a lot of evidence has already been collected and it continues to be recorded. It is no secret that today the United States is conducting its inhumane activities all over the world. Their military biological laboratories operate in all parts of the world. Washington has not joined the protocol on mutual control within the framework of the international Convention on Biological and Toxin Weapons, apparently this is above their dignity. And testing pathogenic strains on people is normal for them. People, from their point of view, are God knows what kind of people – second class. They will not really worry about some Ukrainians.
The Russian Ministry of Defense is confident that the United States is conducting its activities in circumvention of international agreements and continues to build up its military biological potential. At the same time, Ukraine has been assigned the role of a testing ground for conducting tests, collecting biological materials, and studying the specifics of the spread of infectious diseases.
